DYNORACE 2WD DF2I-DF2IS-DF2FS
Thanks to its compact size and user-friendly logic, this is the ideal device to supply workshops willing to integrate a diagnostic unit with the aim of testing cars and light commercial vehicles.
The working of the inertial version is based on the calculation of acceleration given to the flywheel of the dyno by the vehicle.
Dynorace can be used to record and analyse the vehicle performance like torque, power, speed and engine RPM. Furthermore, the managing software allows to perform accurate tests and assessments on the working precision of onboard tools like speedometer/tachometer.
The compact size of DF21 version makes it trasportable on a trailer equipped as race support unit.
The DF2FS version offers further features and programs to enhance the range/level of tests supported thanks to the use of the eddy current brake. The load simulator determines the ideal basis for vehicle diagnostic and testing to verify and recreate problems occurred as well as improve the engine efficiency (motorsport purposes).
A special datalogger supplies real-time information about the measurements. Again, the compact size make it easy to be installed, even on the floor.
The strategic choice of a double-roller frame per wheel clearly highlights our approach: maximum safety conditions during the test. Each wheel is positioned between two rollers to fix the vehicle and make the working operations safer (the alternative choice of a single-roller frame per wheel could determine a dangerous “floating” effect of the vehicle and consequent higher risk during the test). The surface treatment of the rollers was developed to better simulate the roller-road friction in order to guarantee the appropriate grip while preserving the integrity of the tyre from overwear.
Dynorace allows to achieve tests on top performance vehicles (also in constant traction) up to 400 kW per axle and 320 Km/h speed, thanks to high performance and high technological bearings.
Dynorace tests carried out through the use of the eddy current braked system allow to gain data that are processed by the managing software and display following results:
-
Maximum power at wheel, at engine and power loss with graph
and numeric tables of the measurement collected during tests -
Torque at wheel, nominal torque at engine, graph and numeric tables of the measurement collected during tests
-
Load simulation at constant RPM
-
Load simulation at constant traction condition
-
Road simulator according to CX and realistic variable load conditions
-
Measurement of discrepancy of speedometer/tachometer
Measurement data are collected and standardized through an integrated barometric unit in accordance with the following regulations::: DIN 70020, EGW 80/1269, ISO 1585, SAE J1349, JIS D1001
