OBD II Volvo/Renault

Programmer + error eraser.

Used to train Limpoff modules

Module adaptation* is the process of assigning the correct numbers (VIN, chassis, etc.) to the emergency module of the ACM control unit for complete identification by the vehicle's electronic system or diagnostic scanner in subsequent operation.

Advantages of Adaptation:
  1. The Limpoff module is capable of communicating and exchanging data with a diagnostic scanner. When diagnosing a car, it is impossible to distinguish the operation of the emulator from the standard control unit of the ACM system. This facilitates the operation of vehicles at official dealer stations under warranty and maintenance.

  2. The correct ACM system number programmed in the LimpOff emergency module is required for the vehicle's electronic system to make changes to the software of other vehicle control units during maintenance or repair (replacement of one of the control units, firmware update, etc.).

Adaptation process:

1.Connect the module to the adapter

2.Turn on the ignition

3. Connect the adapter with the connected module to the OBDII diagnostic connector of the vehicle

4. Follow the adaptation process with the light indicator of the adapter:

— Red LED flashing – adaptation process in progress

— Green LED on — adaptation completed successfully

— Red LED on – adaptation process not completed

5. Turn off the ignition and start installing the module

Also, the Limpoff - OBDII adapter allows you to remove error codes and reset the soot level, including software replacement of components such as NOx sensors, DPF particulate filter (the last two are valid for euro6). To do this, after plugging the module into the A174 connector, connect the adapter to the OBD II diagnostic connector and turn on the ignition and wait (about 10 seconds) until the green LED stops flashing and lights up permanently.
